Maseno Girls Primary School

Maseno Girls Boarding was established in 1959, under C.M.S ( today A.C.K), with a population of 15 girls and ONE teacher who doubled up as a headteacher.

By 1970, the pupils population increased to 150 most of who were daughters of the clergy. Today (2008) the population stands at 400 girls from age 8-15 years.

The school began from a humble background with barely 15 girls. today, it has a population of above 400 girls, ( ages 8 – 14 years), learning in classes 4 to 8.

The school has produced very reknown and assertive old girls who at the moment serve in various capacities all over the world. ‘bravo’ to our old girls among whom are me and my two daughters Christine and achi.

Our objective, as the management team, is to build on the strenfgth and progress that the school has nmade since its establishment – with the view of enhancing its educational values and quest to empower the girls for wholistic growth.

The school has registered a remarkable upward trend, nt only in the curricular bt also in the extra- curricular activities. The growth is attributerd to the wonderful clinmate, commited staff and professional counselling, ( Courtesy, K.I.P.C & C.C.E.A).
